About the SSC CGL Answer Keys – The Staff Selection Commission conducts the very important Combined Graduate Level exam, also known as SSC CGL. Tier I exam for 2014 SSC CGL recruitment have been conducted on October 19 and 26, 2014. The tests are held on an all India basis. Answer keys provide the correct answer for each question. Candidates must note that the SSC CGL 2014 answer keys for Tier I exam are published officially (by the commission) as well as unofficially (by coaching centers). There is expected to be some difference between the answer keys of SSC CGL 2014 exam published by various coaching institutes. How to download SSC CGL Answer Key of Tier I exam held on October 26, 2014?
There will be two sessions of the exam – morning and evening. The SSC CGL 26.10.2014 morning session test will be from 10 AM to 12 noon. Whereas, the evening session exam will be from 2 PM to 4 PM. For each test slot, the test hour duration is two hours only. Extra time of 40 minutes is given to visually handicapped and cerebral palsy candidates.
After the exam has been conducted, various coaching institutes will be solving the papers individually. The same will be issued as unofficial SSC CGL answer key 2014, and the same shall be published here for your reference. You can download answer keys of all the sets here.
- Please match your session and test booklet code to the answer key codes. For example, if your paper code is 001 KP 1, then you should see SSC CGL answer key 2014 001 KP 1. If you match answers against any other key, you will be getting idea of wrong marks.
- Check which question you marked in the paper. Is it same as the option mentioned in the key? If yes, award yourself marks, if not, keep in mind negative marking.
- For each un-attempted question, you get zero (0) marks.
- After checking all the answers, award yourself marks equivalent to correct answers, and deduct 0.25 marks per wrong question.

Significance of the SSC CGL 2014 Answer Key (26 Oct)
- Each answer key will have answers of 200 questions.
- There are 50 questions of General Intelligence and Reasoning.
- 50 questions are asked for General Awareness.
- Quantitative aptitude section contains 50 questions.
- There are further 50 questions of English Comprehension.
- As each question is objective type, correct answers is one among A , B, C, D.
- There is negative marking of 0.25 marks, which will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
The test paper booklet conatins 200 questions in all comprising the following four parts.

- In questions set bilingually in English and Hindi language, in case of discrepancy, the English version will prevail.
- All questions are compulsory and carry equal marks.
- The paper carries negative marking 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Before you start to answer the question you must check up the question booklet and ensure that it contains all the pages and see that no page is missing or repeated. If you find any defect in the booklet, you must get it replaced immediately.
- You will be supplied the answer sheet separately by the invigilatr. You must complete and code the details of Name, Roll number, Ticket number and Test form number on side I of the answer sheet carefully. You must also put your signature and left hand thumb impression on the answer sheet at the prescribed place before you start answering the questions.
